"I am truly honored and humbled to be receiving these two incredible awards. I believe that all of us are champions in this fight to find a cure for Alzheimer's. My family has been deeply affected by this illness like so many of you. The one thing that has gotten me through the days is knowing that I am not alone. Together we have the ability to make a difference so that the memories of our loved ones are not forgotten. Thank you for the ongoing love and support. We will pave this road together so that our footsteps are looked upon with dignity and grace and our future generations will be able to share the stories and snapshots that we hold closest to our hearts."
