Journalist and longtime Alzheimer’s Association champion Richard Lui will emcee the National Alzheimer’s Dinner. The Alzheimer's Association will present awards during the Dinner in acknowledgement of the critical work its supporters and partners are doing to advance science, advocacy and leadership. Awards include: The Alzheimer's Association Lifetime Achievement Award, the Alzheimer's Association Young Advocate Award and the Alzheimer's Impact Movement Humanitarian Award.

The Alzheimer’s Association Young Advocate Award

Because of the impact she has made through advocating at the state and federal level for the needs of all affected by Alzheimer's and dementia, the Alzheimer’s Association is proud to present Alexandra Socha with the Alzheimer’s Association Young Advocate Award.

The Alzheimer’s Impact Movement Advocate of the Year Award

This award is presented annually to an extraordinary Alzheimer's advocate who has shown outstanding leadership.

The Alzheimer's Impact Movement Humanitarian of the Year Award

The Humanitarian Award is an annual award bestowed upon a public official who has made a significant policy contribution to advancements in research and enhanced care and support for people with Alzheimer's disease. This year we are thrilled to honor U.S. Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine) and U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) for their leadership in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.
